My first weekday after the aimless weekends
romantic. Along with strong wind, the torrential rain downpoured the town.
Looking at the big drops landed on the tarred road, followed by the watermark, we mumbled to each other," Our shoes will be fine."
We ran through the rain, stepped into pools of stagnate water and here I am...writting this post with my drenched clothes and shoes! My clothes aren't exactly wet since the high powered Air-Cond in Media hub has 'hydrated' it.
It was my 2nd trip to Sg. Wang a.K.a Money River. However, this time is more fun as we're total nuts after a long stressful semester. We are in crazy mood, Lily thinks that running in the rain is fun. Yeah, quite true but it would be more fun if we weren't running across the congested KL road.
The
must tell part is, Lily the shoes-eater didn't purchase any! *LOL*
Long before I go to Money River, I thought it would be a shopping paradise at the same time, pockets' burning location. I changed my mind after being there for the 2nd time, it is not as
shopp-able as the rumours said it. The clothes are made for XS girls(especially the jeans), the Harajuku style has outnumbered the real fashion. Futhermore, the price can be a bit out of hand. You need to know the source of the clothes then you will know the average market price. If not, you will be happily bringing home a pretty dress which cost you RM80 and your tougue will go stiff when you see the exact dress you just bought for only RM40.
As a Penangnite, Sg. Wang and Pragin Mall are almost the same. The clothes are taken from the same source, they are differentiated by a 'stick-on' brand.
