Back again..Bored...

Here I am, sitting cross legged at the last row of Lab 3, Taylor's ICT brooding.
Yeah, since I have nothing better to do I just brood. When my mind clicked back to reality, I realized this place has not changed a bit! The loo is as stinky as ever and the labs is infested with crocoaches. Gosh, thank god I'm not afraid of tiny crocoaches. If not, Gracie and Lily would find me as still as a rock statue in one of the corner of TCPJ.

After dropping odd comments at friends' page and staring at Kenny Xia's hilarious blog entry, it suddenly occured to me that why I am here again? Exaclty 2 months ago, I left this place. I was not happy with the place and some people (ahem, you know what i mean). Jovially I spent my 2 months back in a small town called, Farmer's River. Everything was peaceful and in slow pace until I'm back here again. I guessed I have to face it too....oh dear, another one and a half year to go.

Can I make it?

Beautifully delicious

Most of us might not view food presentation as a significant practice instead of a mere indication of social status. French cuisine comes in small portion and looks elegant...Nah, who cares about the looks? People want the taste!...Haih, only 5 stars restaurant emphasize on that! Oh yeah, I'm one of them until recently a delightful bento came across.

In a dimmed living room trying to ignore the hot and humid weather, I laughed my head off at the screen with a VCD entitled, 'Family Man' / Kazoku running in the player. It's just the 2nd episode but I was already engrossed in the show that i had forgotten the purpose of me watching Japanese Series. (Ito sense to Matsuda sense, gomen) The atmosphere was warmth and touching with a tinge of hilarity. The adorable Japanese boy on screen had made me really wanted to pat the head of one cute Jap boy back in Gurney Park. This Japanese kid, Yuto in reel world was upset by the unpleasant bento prepared by his dad. "Ewee, it looks awful." teased by his classmates at the sight of his bento. Soon his dad made effort in cooking when he came to realize that his son was facing taunts and embarrassments in pre-school.

Now that I recalled, my previous Korean roommate, Sara Han was so particular about the salad she was to bring for her friend party that she spent 2 hours decorating it. Layers of cabbage, thin sliced of carrots, nicely cut tomatoes, waves-looked rows of Thousand Island sauce and smashed cooked egg yolk was sprinkled on top as a final touch. The final look of the salad was stored vividly in my mind simply because she had (I begged her not to but she insisted) to had my bowl decorated as well even though the in next minute, the 'looking good salad' had transformed into 'messed up salad' and slipping down my esophagus in another minute. Well, for Japanese and Korean food presentation is part of ettiquate. I think I should learn that somehow...hehe.

Now it make more sense to me that why I had to mould at least 4 types of cartoons-shaped rice and decorate them with punctured seaweed and pulverized tako during my part-time job in Japan Cafe. It's for bento...bento...

I dunno what made me posted this sorrow piece since it does not represent my current thoughts. Since morning, I was depressed about something...something that is unknown to me. I was searching for the core but i failed. Thus, I let the clouds stayed above me until it disappear itself. Hope that it is faux feelings, if not my blog will be a disaster again.

Guns and Wands

Anticipating The Bourne Ultimate which is not released yet, I went for Die Hard 4.0 instead. Lily thought she would sleep in the cinema but it was the opposite; she nearly slept in Harry Potter and the Order of Pheonix! I was too excited over the movie marathon since the last movie marathon I did was 5 months ago; The Island(if I'm not mistaken) and Mission Impossible 3. Whereas Andrew and Wee Leum were complaining over the andreline flow for the day; the sudden switch of atmospheres, from action movie to magical show had somehow ruined the feelings. ^-^ (Guys...sigh)



No doubt Bruce Willis has made the show a good one, it was great other than the surreal plane and truck collision scene. I found it hilarious. Move to the richest British kid's production, Daniel Radcliffe is such a British hunk. However, I prefer him in his first show. He was way cuter; the round green-iris eyes and innocent smile had driven my lilttle sister crazy. This time, the film was a bit disappointing as it was not as dark as it was suppose to be. Moreover, non-reader like See May and Wee Leum were confused. Certain scenes were not explained, the events just breeezed through. Okay, I will stop criticizing...smirking at Lily. She will do the part :P



Just like every year, my mood for Harry Potter would swing by after the movie. I would grab the book and imagine the next chapters of Harry's live whereas everyone elsle would be reading the last book, which is released on this 21st. Lily is going to shun the world for the book. By night, she would cry for the deaths of Harry? Hermoine? Ron? Hagrid? or whom they might be...

Reunion with Transformer

After missing the friends'gathering twice, I finally made it for the third time. Back to the small town cinema; none others but Central Square, we watched Transformer and spent the noon at McD catching up with each other. I saw my beloved Princess May's back once I headed to McD, her bob-chopped hair caught my attention. She dressed more lady-like now compared to the last time we meet. Clad in jeans and a Black T model-like girl stood next to her was Chan, jokingly she threw me a reproachful look for not informing her about the gathering. Well, I thought she was in Penang. Then, the 3 nice guys popped up, Kenneth, Chong Tat and Ellie. Followed by the late-comers, Wee Leum and Andrew. As usual, Kenneth wore the typical T-shirt which reminded me of Kar yee's random comment one year ago. How could his head fit into the small collar? *LOL* Seeing Andrew in casual attire reminded me of how good he looked when he attended my event in Bond, Avenue K. Haven't seen him for almost 2 years, Wee Leum seem to has grown an inch taller. My gosh, he is a head taller than me now. Turning back to an hour ealier, I picked up Lily from her house (Oops, she was having her lunch). Dressed in her sexy MESSAGE skirt, she'd done her make-up in the journey. Siew Lee gau ooo. *Smirk*

The day was spiced up by the great movie we watched, Transformer! I had to say it's really good. A combination of action and comedy. What's more? Trapped in desperate situation, the bond between human(Sam) and the gigantic robot(Bumblebee) had caused me went teary. It would be one of my favourite shows as I had stayed till the end even though I desperately need an exit to the loo. Later I found out that, Andrew who sat next to me was fidgeting throughout the show was having the same problem as I. haha...it's too good to leave the cinema even for 5 minutes!

I guessed it would be a long time again for us to meet. Andrew and Chong Tat are leaving for Singapore on 24/25 July whereas Ellie would return to UUM this Friday. Wee Leum's semester breaks is coming to an end while Lily and I shared the same fate. Chan remained in Penang and C May would fly to Heath Ledger's birth place on 12th July.
